We are hiring an Assistant Controller for our valued client in the Twin Cities, who is a mid-size distribution company.
As Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Provide oversight of accounts payable and receivable, treasury, cash-flow, tax, and audits.
- Work alongside Controller to ensure company growth and uphold company standards
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedure
Who qualifies for the Assistant Controller role?
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
- 5+ years of strong team management and development experience
- Experience working for mid size companies
- Public accounting background a plus
- Ability to work efficiently meet deadlines with accuracy
- System experience with JDE or similar
- Excellent communication skill and ability to delegate duties
- Hybrid schedule
How much will you earn as the Assistant Controller?
- $130k - $140k
