We are hiring an Assistant Controller for our valued client in the Twin Cities, who is a mid-size distribution company.

As Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Provide oversight of accounts payable and receivable, treasury, cash-flow, tax, and audits.
  • Work alongside Controller to ensure company growth and uphold company standards
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedure

Who qualifies for the Assistant Controller role?

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
  • 5+ years of strong team management and development experience
  • Experience working for mid size companies
  • Public accounting background a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently meet deadlines with accuracy
  • System experience with JDE or similar
  • Excellent communication skill and ability to delegate duties
  • Hybrid schedule

How much will you earn as the Assistant Controller?

  • $130k - $140k
