An established construction company in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Payroll Administrator with a competitive salary range of $45K-$50K for a direct hire position. This role is ideal for an experienced individual who excels in managing payroll and accounting functions. The successful candidate must be organized, dependable, proactive, and demonstrate a track record of stability and growth within the position.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process weekly payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Verify timecards and communicate any corrections to supervisors promptly.
- Update employee accrual sheets and track PTO requests and absences.
- Manage expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Enter payroll details into Timberline software with precision and attention to detail.
- Other administrative duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- 3 years of proven experience in payroll management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and proficiency in using payroll software like Timberline/Sage, Miter, Expensify, and GoodHire.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently.
