About the Role: Business Professional I
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for contracts and analytical work? Join our dynamic Public Works Department team as a Business Professional I! You'll play a critical role in supporting various divisions with professional, technical, and analytical tasks—primarily focused on contract management and administrative support.
What You'll Do
Contract Responsibilities:

Prepare and assist with contract scopes, advertising, renewals, amendments, and awards.

Act as a liaison between various County Departments and Procurement.

Support contract price increases, renewals, and amendments.

Manage eGenda items and workflows through OnBase.

Coordinate with vendors and staff on quotes and Certificates of Insurance (COI).
Reporting & Non-Procurement Tasks:

Monitor and analyze contract-related functions through OnBase and Smartsheet.

Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Business Practices.

Assist in preparing reports, conducting research, and supporting special projects.

Provide support for non-procurement exemptions, waivers, and renewals.
What You Bring

Education & Experience: Associate's degree or three years of administrative/business experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Adobe Professional, OnBase, Grammarly, Workday, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and Smartsheet.

Abilities: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
