Job description

We are seeking a skilled multi-family Leasing and Community Specialist to oversee the daily operations and management of our apartment property in Manatee County, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining property rentals, resident relations, community events and overall health of the property. The Specialist will provide exceptional service and resident satisfaction and be self-motivated to effectively oversee and execute on all resident or property matters independently.

-Executing and enforcing leases, maintaining, and protecting assets and building a family style community

-Manage all aspects leasing and resident community development

-Maintain occupancy goals with marketing and renewals

- Maintain property curb appeal standards

- Provide outstanding tenant relations

- Resolving concerns and maintenance needs promptly

- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws

- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

-Perform all aspects of leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations.

-Responsible for rent payments, banking and financial transactions and confidential information


Skills - Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multi-family properties

- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations

- Great sales experience and closing rate

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills

- Organization and administrative skills

- Experience with property management software, such as Yardi, Yardi Breeze Premier

- Proven conflict management abilities

- Excellent problem solving, listening and reasoning skills

- Ability to research and understand current rental market trends

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

- Capacity to multitask and meet deadlines

- Availability to work full-time, including weekends as necessary

- Legal authorization to work in the United States

- Reliable transportation
