Position Overview:
A roofing company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the office, ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent service to our customers and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Input job data into the company’s CRM system accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents, records, and office supplies.
- Greet and assist customers and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Support the office staff with various clerical tasks, including data entry, photocopying, and scanning.
- Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide status updates and answer inquiries.
- Learn the permit process to provide coverage for the permit department when needed.
- Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the Office Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
