Procurement Analyst (Procurement Professional II)

Pay Rate: $29.81/hour
Assignment Duration: 6–12 months (Full-Time, Monday–Friday)
About the Role
Join the team as a Procurement Analyst and play a key role in managing both competitive and non-competitive procurement processes. This contract position is ideal for professionals with public sector procurement experience and strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Competitive Procurements:
-
Draft and manage RFPs, ITNs, IFBs, and quotes
-
Conduct procurement planning meetings and facilitate public procurement events
-
Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and assist with award recommendations

Non-Competitive Procurements:
-
Review and process piggyback, waiver, sole/single source, and emergency requests
-
Evaluate feasibility and ensure adherence to policy and procurement codes
-

Contract Management:

Draft contracts, amendments, extensions, and terminations

Review and approve procurement submissions in eBar and eCar systems
-
Qualifications
-
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Public Administration, or related field + 1 year of experience

OR Associate’s degree + 3 years of experience

OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Preferred Certification:
-
CPPB, CPPO, or related procurement certification (not required)

Skills:

Strong understanding of public procurement methodologies

Analytical thinking, data organization, and contract drafting

Ability to facilitate meetings and collaborate across departments

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
