Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Recreation Aide to provide clerical and administrative support to our Administrative Secretary. This very part-time role is ideal for someone looking to assist in a recreation or community services setting in a supportive, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with organizing and filing participant forms and program documents
Help prepare materials and rosters for recreational programs and events
Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide basic information to the public
Support scheduling and room reservations for recreational activities
Help maintain supply inventory and order materials as needed
Provide general clerical support such as copying, scanning, and data entry
Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous clerical or office support experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Friendly, approachable, and comfortable working with the public
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
