Warehouse Technician
Location: Manatee County, FL
Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Pay: $19.45/HR

About the Job

We are seeking a Warehouse Technician to handle daily warehouse functions including purchasing, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and fuel management. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys physical work, is highly organized, and can work independently while maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

What You’ll Do

• Source and purchase materials, supplies, and equipment from approved vendors

• Obtain quotes, enter requisitions, and maintain inventory records in the ERP system

• Receive, store, and issue inventory while keeping accurate transaction records

• Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies

• Load and unload inventory using forklifts and other equipment

• Maintain and track daily fuel inventory; prepare monthly allocation reports

• Conduct safety checks and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

• Keep Safety Data Sheets updated for chemical-related inventory

• Assist supervisors with work order management and procurement

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide support to supervisors, employees, and vendors to ensure accuracy in inventory and work orders

• Assist with creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Train new employees on work orders and inventory processes

• Support Finance during periodic inventory counts and annual audits

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Basic math and computer skills (Excel and inventory software preferred)

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Physical ability to lift 20–50 lbs and work in varying conditions (heat, cold, humidity)

Requirements

• Valid Florida driver’s license

• Forklift Driver Certification

• Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment
