Graphic design position responsible for the design and production of products for Stormwater and Fire Department on a 50/50 split. These products include designs for print such as brochures, flyers, signage and posters, social media & web graphics, & graphics used for TV.
50% of time : STORMWATER: Responsible for the design and digital production of the Stormwater Department's communication materials using the Adobe Creative Suites software. Individual will work with the Creative Services team to design and produce brochures, flyers, signage and posters as well as social media graphics, web graphics and graphics used for TV for the Stormwater Department.
• Conceptualizes, designs, and produces a wide range of visual materials including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, posters, reports, presentations, banners, and event signage that support department programs and initiatives.
• Ensures all designs align with County brand standards, maintaining consistency in visual identity, tone, and messaging across all internal and external communications.
• Develops digital and print materials for campaigns, videos, web, and social media platforms. Creates graphics, motion elements, and templates for use in digital communication and information dissemination.

• Ensures all designs align with Sarasota County Fire Department and County brand standards, maintaining consistency in visual identity, tone, and messaging across all internal and external communications.
• Develops digital and print materials for campaigns, videos, web, and social media platforms. Creates graphics, motion elements, and templates for use in digital communication and emergency information dissemination.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years associates degree in graphic design; minimum 2 years industry experience
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suites software
