Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support clerical and administrative functions within our recreation department. This role is ideal for someone seeking a part-time opportunity in a community-focused, team-oriented environment.

 

 

Primary Duties

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining participant records and program files

  • Prepare materials, rosters, and documentation for programs and events

  • Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide general customer service

  • Support scheduling, reservations, and coordination of facility use

  • Monitor supply inventory and help with ordering as needed

  • Perform general clerical duties including copying, scanning, and data entry

  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned

 

 

Qualifications

  • Prior clerical or office support experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational abilities

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Friendly, customer-service oriented, and comfortable interacting with the public

  • Able to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
