Job Summary:
Campus Informational Specialist is responsible for providing excellence in customer service. This position is the first contact for Student Services and Academics and has a general knowledge base of the campus protocols for the areas of: admissions, financial aid, and registration. This position will assist with campus operations, community/business inquiries and other hosted events.
This position will also be required to respond to first level questions from students in the following departmental areas:

Admissions: Respond to inquiries and assist students through the basic application and enrollment process.

Recruitment: Assist with recruitment events and orientations as needed. Deliver campus tours as requested.

Financial Aid: Assist with general financial aid inquiries and provide contact information to appropriate points of contact in the Office of Financial Aid for specific inquiries.

Advising: This position acts as a resource for basic degree works and advising information. This position will answer general inquiries regarding degree, requirements, and programs available.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Campus Assistance: This position will help lead, guide, and direct campus guests, students, and families and provide trouble-shooting support as needed. The responsibility will be to provide a smooth transition to the appropriate department/person on or off campus.
Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all the following duties:

Guides and assists potential students through the full admissions process to enrollment.

Greets and assists campus guests and visitors. Provides campus tours as requested.

Answers general questions around admissions, programs, campus events, and college systems. .

Assists with signing students into admissions, advising, financial aid, and other departments.

Helps to provide support for lifelong learning, non-credit, and academic services at the campus.

Responds to inquirers in person, via email, and phone.

Provides support to campus efforts and events.
