Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, service-minded Customer Service Representative to support a busy county department. This role is all about helping residents and internal staff get the information and services they need, while delivering a consistently positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries from the general public and county employees regarding services, processes, and available resources.
Identify the type of service or information being requested and provide accurate guidance.
Deliver a high level of customer service, aiming to exceed expectations on every interaction.
Enter data and service requests into various systems to create and process work orders.
Provide status updates and follow-up information as needed.
Transfer inquiries to subject matter experts when appropriate.
Attend required training sessions, team meetings, and department briefings.
Support front-counter operations when assigned, assisting walk-in visitors.
Maintain customer service standards, business protocols, and quality expectations.
Collaborate effectively in a team-focused environment.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in a call center or customer service role.
Strong communication skills and comfort handling high-volume inquiries.
Ability to learn multiple systems and follow established procedures.
