What You’ll Do
Teach and support secondary (dual-enrolled) and post-secondary nursing students.
Deliver and assess curriculum aligned with State, District, and MTC standards.
Provide hands-on instruction, skills training, and performance evaluations.
Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Support student testing, certification preparation, and skill assessments.
Stay current with healthcare trends, best practices, and instructional strategies.
Collaborate with faculty, administrators, employers, and community partners.
Participate in program advisory meetings, accreditation activities, and department events.
Represent the nursing program in the community and support student organizations such as HOSA.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but Associate degree or diploma pathways accepted if aligned with CTE requirements.
Eligible for district or state CTE instructor certification (training and support available).
Strong communication, organization, and student engagement skills.
Comfortable managing groups, leading demonstrations, and adapting to different learning styles.
Familiarity with instructional technology and nursing equipment.
Ability to collaborate with diverse student populations and staff.
