Accela Program Support – Part-Time
30 hours/week | One-year assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (schedule TBD)
Pay rate: $50.00/hr.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to support ongoing administrative and quality assurance efforts for the County’s Land Information Management System (Accela). This part-time role is responsible for maintaining system benchmarks, performing QA testing, supporting end users, and helping ensure Accela runs smoothly across permitting, inspection, and enforcement workflows.

What You’ll Do

Administrative & QA Support

  • Maintain and track key Accela benchmarks and performance data
  • Conduct routine quality assurance testing to ensure accurate system function
  • Log and document test results, issues, and user-reported problems
  • Monitor system performance and identify discrepancies for resolution

Documentation & Process Support

  • Document business processes, test cases, checklists, and system changes
  • Collect and organize user feedback for analysis and implementation
  • Help refine workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy

System & User Coordination

  • Provide administrative support for system updates and enhancements
  • Assist with troubleshooting user issues and escalating as needed
  • Collaborate with the Program Administrator and technical teams to implement improvements
  • Help ensure data integrity across system modules

Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as a point of contact between staff and IT for system-related needs
  • Participate in status meetings and contribute to cross-department coordination
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required

Experience

  • Experience with administrative systems, quality assurance, or data tracking
  • Familiarity with Accela or similar permitting/land management systems
  • Experience in a government or regulatory environment is a plus

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable conducting structured testing and maintaining documentation
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient with web-based platforms and office productivity tools
