American Workforce Group has partnered with a timber manufacturing facility in Chehalis to find an experienced Planer Operator. Applicants must have professional planer operating experience, as well as have an excellent attitude, ability to follow direction, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

This position will be responsible for learning and operating a large timber planer (30” Buss) and a re-saw in order to size/surface large timber beams. There is a possible inventory management component for the right candidate.
The ideal person for this position must be capable, and have the drive to learn and grow. This is a career position with a lot of growth potential.

- -Must have a good understanding of math and rulers
Details for Planer Machine Operator:
- Pay: $21.50/hr
- Monday - Friday
- Swing Shift - 2:30PM- 11PM
- Temp - Hire After Probationary Period
- Benefits included upon hire -401K plan
Requirements for Planer Machine Operator:
- Lift 50-75 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
