CNC Programmer

AppleTree Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a trusted client. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs to produce precision parts. Your expertise in programming and operating CNC machines will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machines, including mills

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machining operations

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications

• Conduct quality checks using bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments

• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines or programs

• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• - Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role

• - Proficiency in programming languages such as G-code and CAM programming software

• - Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling and lathe operations

• - Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

• - Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and measurements

• - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics

• - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus

• - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
