Warehouse Associate Forklift

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our client's dynamic team on the west side of Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various duties in a cold storage environment, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing and organizing stock.

Our client is a rapidly growing food technology startup company, specializing in creating innovative luxury home appliances and gourmet meal kits.

Job Duties:

• Safely and accurately select customer orders and move products within the warehouse as directed.

• Quickly and efficiently navigate order selecting software to identify tasks, locations, and order selections.

• Verify that the correct product has been selected and is free of damage.

• Communicate status, results, and insights to the management team.

• Take on additional projects, tasks, and opportunities as they arise.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.

• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction).

• High levels of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

• Detail-oriented; prioritizes important action items; problem solver; active listener; independent thinker.

• Forklift Certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to 40 degrees for extended periods.

• Frequently lift, push, and pull boxes weighing up to 65 pounds.

• Ability to observe details at close range.

• Constant bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, and reaching to retrieve products.

• Ability to operate machinery such as a forklift and pallet jack.

• Standing for extended periods.

• Ability to operate a computer and other productivity equipment such as a hand scanner and labeling machine.
