The Process Specialist plays a key role in setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe, efficient production that meets quality standards. This role is highly technical and requires strong problem-solving skills, mechanical expertise, and the ability to support both production and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead maintenance, quality, and production efforts in the setup, profiling, and start-up of new and existing tooling

Troubleshoot profile-related issues and recurring defects

Train and mentor operators in Two Step blow molding techniques and problem-solving

Document, update, and manage master profiles and setup sheets for tooling

Support changeovers by assisting with mechanical setup and providing feedback on machine parameters

Partner with production and quality teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with standards

Develop and deliver training programs (GMP, SOPs, WIs, lockout/tagout, forklift/man lift operations, etc.)

Create and maintain work instructions for Two Step operations

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical components impacting container processing

Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
-
5+ years of experience in PET manufacturing

Strong machine and mechanical knowledge

Familiarity with downstream equipment operation and maintenance

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Flexible schedule: availability for different shifts, call-ins, and weekends as needed

Willingness to travel up to 10%
