Job Overview
The Maintenance Technician I performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks in alignment with service, quality, and safety standards. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.

Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks including installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair.

Maintain production and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Work across multiple disciplines including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding.

Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, equipment, and systems.

Operate and maintain forklifts and other equipment as needed.

Ensure adequate supplies and materials are requested for assigned tasks.

Follow all standard operating procedures, quality policies, and safety guidelines.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications

2 to 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.

Relevant certifications in machine maintenance or related areas.
Preferred Qualifications
-
3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certifications.
