We’re looking for a driven Regional Sales Manager to join our client's team and lead business growth across the Southeast region (Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana).

Our client is a world-class manufacturer of transformers, inductors, and other electronic components. They specialize in custom magnetics and provide customers with the best service in the industry. They work closely with major players in cutting-edge industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical, and robotics.

This remote position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels at building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs. You’ll manage a portfolio of key accounts while expanding our reach through new business development.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.

  • Conduct direct sales activities — including prospecting, lead qualification, client meetings, and solution presentations.

  • Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that align with business goals.

  • Work closely with inside sales and cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer support and project execution.

  • Track and report sales activity, opportunities, and market trends through regular communication and detailed trip reports.

  • Maintain an active travel schedule (approx. 50%) to meet with clients, strengthen relationships, and explore new opportunities.

  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform sales strategy and identify growth potential.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 0–5 years of experience in outside sales or technical sales.

  • A self-motivated, target-driven approach with strong relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to manage multiple accounts independently.

  • Experience in the electronics industry or a technical background is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be based in the Southeast U.S.

Compensation & Incentives

This position offers a competitive base salary plus performance-based commission and incentive programs, including:

  • Sales Growth Bonus: 1.0% commission on increased annual sales revenue in your territory.

  • New Design-In Incentives:

  •  

    • 1.0% commission on semiconductor design-ins (first $5M in revenue, valid for 2 years after initial PO).

    • 1.0% commission on custom design-ins (first $5M in revenue, valid for 2 years after initial PO).

    • 1.25% commission on new customer design-ins (first $5M in revenue, valid for 2 years after initial PO).
