Join Our Team as a Electrician!
Do you have a wide range of skills in both wiring and electrical component assembly? We are seeking a talented Production Electrician to join our team! The Production Electrician will be responsible for building moderately complex units, which require wiring, assembling electrical enclosures, and programming simple control units while maintaining a safe work environment and following best practices at all times.
Responsibilities:
Install electrical wiring to include harness, point to point installations, and basic electrical components
Build electrical panels, including wiring, component installation, and panel installation on the unit
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems on all Products as needed
Program electrical components as needed
Perform preventative maintenance on all machines where applicable
Actively participate in company initiatives such as process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, 5S, etc.
Stay abreast of communication, understand and act in accord with Nu-Meat standards of conduct, policies, and procedures
Contribute to the corporate vision including but not limited to working in a positive fashion with teammates and leadership, taking initiative, and having ownership of work
Flexible, performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Electrician
Strong knowledge of electrical components, electrical wiring, and programming
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems as needed
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary
Experience with preventative maintenance preferred
