- Cabinet Company is looking for an experienced Finisher.
Responsibilities:
- Sanding- Understands the process of using different sanding grits and sanding grit sequences to achieve specified final finishing results. Can sufficiently use a block sander or operate a palm sander.
- Repairs & Touch Ups- Capable of using wood putty, filler, glue/sawdust to make minor repairs to materials prior to finishing product or crayons, pencils, fill-sticks, etc. to make final acceptable touch-ups.
- Staining- Capable of wiping stains in a consistent manner to get a desired result.
- Spraying- Capable of accurately applying sealer and topcoat finishes to any product
- Stain Mixing- Has a basic understanding of how to mix component ink colors and bases to achieve a desired stain or color match.
- Materials- Understands basic difference and spray characteristics of both water base and lacquer spray systems including such materials as glazes, gel stains, polyurethanes, etc.
- Track Record- Recognized by peers, supervisors, and managers as having a proven history over a sustained period of consistently meeting Finish Associate performance expectations.
Must have 2 years + of finishing experience.
