As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products safely and efficiently. If you have previous experience operating forklifts, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Load and unload products from trucks, conveyor belts, and storage areas
- Move and stack materials according to company standards and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely order picking and staging of products for shipment
- Conduct inspections of forklifts and other equipment to identify and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and work area
- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording and reporting stock levels
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role
- Valid forklift operator certification and/or license
- Strong knowledge of forklift operation and safety regulations
- Ability to operate other warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and stacking
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
