Material Handler

JOB SUMMARY: (overall purpose/objective of job) Organizes and maintains materials necessary for manufacturing product. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (basic job requirements) · Primary responsibility involves movement (physical and transactional) of production material from one location/process to another. · Administrative and physical tasks in the stockroom, fab whse, paint and assembly areas as required. · Pick and pull of materials using standard operating procedures. · Maintain inventory accuracy levels by proper use of inventory transactions and documentation. · Responsible for the issue of material and floor stock replenishment, cycle counts, material put away/pull. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (specific to position) · Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. · May be back up to other warehouse/production areas as required. · Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
