HVAC Mechanical Copper pipefitters- welder
Location: NORTH DALLAS AREA and surrounding
Pay: 25 – 35 hour ( plus) benefits and more - long term DOE
We’re looking for a skilled Copper HVAC Pipefitter-welder ( solder) to join our team in the HVAC Mechanical new installation space. Commercial Construction new install of all mechanical and HVAC piping systems. If you have at least 2 years of COPPER welding and pipefitting experience in a mechanical ( HVAC COPPER pipe welding installation role) commercial large project HVAC welded piping, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a hands-on environment, this could be the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations.
Position, secure, and weld parts/assemblies using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.
Cut, grind, and finish workpieces as needed to meet quality standards.
Inspect welds, grooves, and gaps using precision measuring instruments.
Install or repair equipment such as lead pipes, valves, tank linings, and related components.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and policies.
What We’re Looking For
Education/Skills:
High school diploma or technical school training.
Knowledge of equipment selection, welding techniques, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
Minimum 2 years of welding and COPPER pipefitting experience.
Ability to repair, install, and maintain equipment.
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions.
Must be able to work in flat, vertical, or overhead welding positions.
Ability to maintain punctual, reliable attendance.
Clear communication skills, including phone and face-to-face interactions.
