Looking for a dedicated and dependable HVAC Service Technician to hit the ground running as a lead HVAC Small Commercial  Residential Service Technician.   We're searching for someone with a strong focus on World Class customer service and a desire to grow a business with an opportunity for performance bonuses and commission

JOB SUMMARY  RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage new and existing residential and light commercial client interactions.

Oversee multiple HVAC projects across a wide range of scopes of work.

Understand project requirements and limitations to deliver a value-add strategy to discerning clients.

Review project requirements and develop accurate estimates outlining multiple scopes of work in a precise and detailed, professional format.

Capable of pivoting sales strategies based on client feedback to provide cross-selling opportunities and develop long-standing client relationships.

Ability to read, understand and work from complex architectural and engineering plans, working with designers, architects and engineers to develop custom solutions.

Adaptable to change and capable of deciphering needs and making decisions regarding construction methods and performance.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Plan, organize and schedule activities on a daily basis across multiple projects to ensure the highest level of coordination and productivity.

Communicate proactively in a professional manner with discerning and demanding clients to meet individual needs.

Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.

Repair and maintain HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment including troubleshooting, repair and change-outs.

Inspect HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment to identify hazards, defects and repair needs, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local building codes by enforcing adherence to requirements.

Test HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment ensuring safe and proper functionality.

Perform physically demanding tasks including moving / lifting heavy objects, and crawling through confined spaces.

Ability to field after-hours and weekend service calls with potential after-hours and weekend field work, on a rotating basis to ensure customer needs are met.

Support operating policies, procedures and system operations across a wide array of responsibilities.

Serve as a key resource for project information and resolve problems or questions referred by internal and external sources.

Establish and maintain an active network of professional contacts.

Provide quality control and ensure projects are completed on time and on budget in a professional manner.

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Current TACLA or TACLB license.

Minimum (5) years residential / light commercial HVAC / refrigeration work experience required.

Good driving record and current drivers license.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; able to push, pull, carry and maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower / tools as necessary); able to climb ladders, work from heights and work in confined areas.

Knowledgeable and experienced in estimating, construction means and methods.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical engineering drawings.

Familiarity with managing internal employees, external subcontractors and vendors.

Must be driven and able to work without supervision in a fast-paced environment, taking responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously.

Capable of world-class customer service for extremely discerning clientele.
