Commercial Journeyman Electrician (Texas Licensed) ( or Apprentice min 3 yrs )
Industrial and commercial electrical contracting, is seeking a skilled Texas Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. We're looking for a hands-on professional who’s ready to hit the ground running on active job sites, with a strong work ethic and solid field experience in both industrial and commercial environments.
This project includes a blend of heavy industrial work and a small commercial office space buildout. Work involves new roadway development, installation of site lighting and poles, and setting new transformer pads—making strong field experience in large-scale exterior electrical infrastructure a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, bend, and run conduit (EMT, PVC, etc.)
- Pull wire for lighting, power distribution, and equipment feeds
- Construct and install switchgear systems
- Install and terminate panels, transformers, and site power systems
- Perform trench work and underground conduit installation
- Glue and assemble PVC pipe; bring conduit up to racks for connection
- Install site lighting including pole bases and connections
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, plans, and schematics
- Ensure work is compliant with NEC and local codes
- Work outdoors in varying site conditions, including trenches and elevated platforms
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License Or Min 3 yrs with Hours as an Apprentice
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial/commercial electrical work
- Experience in conduit installation, wire pulling, and switchgear construction is essential
- Proficient in site work including new roadways, site lighting, poles, and transformer pads
- Able to work independently and follow direction in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
