Maintenance Job Performance - 

  1. Quality – establish, maintain, and inspect quality standards for job performance for each customer in accordance with contracts 
  2. expectations.
  3. Routing – route crews in the most efficient manner to complete assignments while minimizing non-billable time.
  4. Timekeeping – ensure crew time is properly recorded in the company timekeeping system and approve timesheets for payroll.
  5. Communication – proactively communicate with customers, management, and team members.
  6. Customer Management -coordinate with Account Manager to maintain excellent client relationships, identify enhancement opportunities, and respond to customer inquiries.

Personnel Management

  1. Crews – establish optimum crew sizes and assign crews.  Manage time off and staffing levels.
  2. Training – identify training needs and develop training programs. Identify and develop crew leaders. Identify and work to improve lower- performing crew leaders and crews.
  3. Safety - establish safety program and associated training.  Strictly enforce safety standards.
  4. Performance – create, enforce, and measure performance standards. Coach employees for performance improvement, provide employee reviews, and replace non-performing employees. Assist in resolving conflict between team members.
  5. Recruiting – establish staffing plans, pay rate structure, and overall recruiting plan for the division.

Equipment Management

  1. Acquisition - Identify required equipment items for each crew.  Develop service life expectancy and acquisition/replacement strategy.  Create and maintain vendor relationships.
  2. Maintenance - Establish maintenance programs to maximize efficiency and service life of crew equipment.

Materials

  1. Acquisition - Coordinate with Administration and Construction teams to identify and acquire necessary materials for Maintenance Division.
  2. Accounting - Ensure correct materials are used on jobs and accounted for within contracts.   Monitor and maintain supply levels.

Division Administration

  1. Budgeting – work with Administration to establish division budget for labor, equipment, and materials.
  2. Measurement and Reporting– utilize tools available to measure job and division performance on quality and financial measures. Provide monthly and annual division reporting.
  3. Improvement - identify opportunities for process and financial improvements and provide proactive communication.


Qualifications

  1. Multi-crew supervisory experience in landscape operations.
  2. Working Knowledge of landscape equipment and materials.
  3. Valid Texas Driver’s License with minimal violations.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  5. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.  Conversational Spanish.
  6. Commitment to excellence.


Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $55,000-$65,000 DOE.  Company truck provided. Cell phone allowance.  Eligiible for all benefits offered by the company, including medical, dental, life insurances. 401k with employer match, and various other benefits as may be in effect.
