HIRING MECHANICAL HVAC PROJECT MANAGER FOR COMMERCIAL MEDIUM OT LARGE SCALE PROJECTS
We are in search of aN EXPERIENCED HVAC MECHANICAL Project Manager who is proactive, a friendly communicator who is energized by managing projects with complex processes and a multitude of stakeholders. A successful Project Manager here is skilled at the facilitation of information and is comfortable leading teams, even when they do not have direct authority over those involved. Accordingly, he/she will oversee client projects, while working across the organization to ensure accurate and timely completion. Will serve as the point of contact for projects, using their energetic and enthusiastic communication style to encourage others and ensure key stakeholders complete work on time, within budget, and within scope. The Project Manager will also set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize the progress of project, while reporting to senior leadership on a regular cadence. RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Complete project organization and delegation
- Review, approve project submittals and shop drawings
- Release equipment & coordinate sub-contractor
- Coordination of Superintendent responsibilities, paperwork processes, etc.
- Responsible for the submittal, approval and follow through of the “Change Order Management” process
- Purchasing Coordination
- Responsible for the project billing and follow through until the project ends.
- Maintain continued job coordination with general contractor
- Maintain the coordination of the job and subcontractor management
- Project start-up and closeout
- Maintain project cost tracking logs and maintain updated correspondence with GC and customers
- Demonstrate problem solving skill on projects
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistently including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards of the company.
- Perform any and all other tasks assigned by the President.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
·Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
·Prefer some college.
·Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and excellent driving record
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to pay attention to details, thorough and drive
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be efficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
·Must possess the ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
·Possess a minimum of 5 years of industry experience IN MECHANICAL HVAC WORK - NEW CONSTRUCTION AND RETROFIT COMMERCIAL WORKS
·Possess a minimum of 6 years of commercial HVAC construction project experience.
·Must possess a minimum of 6 years of leadership experience
- Be able to quickly gain an understanding of the business and processes
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- Must be able to attend site project meetings and walk project sites
- Must be able to speak and understand English clearly.
Salary: 98K - 110K
