About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ( min 5 yrs in commercial HVAC ) and 1 -2 yr ideal as a Mechanical HVAC Foreman to oversee commercial new construction projects from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can manage crews, coordinate schedules, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in the field. Your previous projects and references are key.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead HVAC installation crews on commercial projects
Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and manpower with the project manager and general contractor
Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications
Ensure all work meets project design, code, and quality standards
Oversee installation of ductwork, chillers, RTUs, VRF systems, piping, and controls
Maintain accurate documentation for job progress, inspections, and manpower
Promote safety compliance and enforce company safety protocols
Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and technicians in the field
Communicate proactively with clients, engineers, and other trades to resolve issues and maintain schedules
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC construction experience
At least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, ductwork, and hydronic piping
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
Proficient in scheduling, planning, and managing field operations
EPA Certification preferred; OSHA 10 or 30 required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
