The position requires someone that can be discreet as they are handling private and sensitive information, including payroll, vendors, payment info, etc. Qualified candidates must have some familiarity with bookkeeping and accounts payable. Please keep in mind, that this is an extremely sensitive position, it also requires good thought process and memory. In order to hire someone for this position, they need to have a calm demeanor, have some understanding of accounting or bookkeeping. They need to have a good phone voice so they can speak clearly with vendors and customers and resolve questions and issues, and they must be trustworthy.
