Forklift Operator

At this time we are in need of 2 warehouse person on 2nd shift. 2p-10p $16.50/hr M-F with a 8-10% probability of overtime. Qualified candidates must have sit-down forklift experience, over-head crane experience, stable job history a strong foundation (sharp) to build upon. This is temp-to-hire and client is looking for candidates to learn and grown with the company. Many of the current staff have been there over 20+ years. Individuals need to have basic math, reading, critical/analytical/reasoning skills/capabilities, be able to read tape measures and rulers and basic computer skills. All candidates will undergone a 1-2 intense safety training on a computer module. Will also have to pass forklift and overhead crane testing. Associates will undergo a 2-4 week training program under the direct supervision of team leads/supervisor prior to being alone/unattended. No associate will be left alone until they have proven to be safe and knowledgeable about how to safely perform all job responsibilities. Employees will be pulling and staging for production orders using sit-down forklift. Operate over head crane to move material as needed. Load/unload trucks. HS Diploma is a requirement. 10 panel drug test, minimum of 2 years similar job experience. Backgrounds-- run prior to interview with Bob. Company does over health insurance and 401k when hired on as a payroll deduction+. Candidates will never lift over 50 lbs with out assistance. Company does teach proper lifting techniques as well as having a 3 min pre shift stretching.
