Are you a CDL driver with Hazmat and looking for consistent hours with more home time?
Receive raw materials and supplies, verifying that proper items and quantities have been delivered and document actual items received and report any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate documentation for all receipts and shipments.
Sieve and/or screen finished goods prior to packaging in final shipping containers (as required).
Package and properly label samples and bulk orders in various sized units to accurately fulfill sales orders and
requests from Research and Development.
Execute shipments of samples and bulk orders using global transporters (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals according to regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
Perform pulls of raw materials and stage for Production to ensure the production schedule is met.
Lead efforts to establish shipping, receiving, and packaging requirements for all products.
Establish procedures for maintaining on-time delivery of products.
Collaborate with customers to coordinate outgoing shipments of samples and bulk products in a safe and compliant manner.
Maintain proper warehousing of all supplies, raw materials, intermediates, and products.
Establish and maintain procedures for inventory control of all supplies, raw materials, intermediates, and products.
Coordinate and perform cycle counts and full physical inventory counts on a periodic basis to support financial requirements.
Monitor hazardous waste storage areas and perform documented weekly inspections of satellite and storage areas.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must have IATA Certification or CDL w/ Hazmat
- Prior 3 years experience of shipping and receiving and handling of chemicals
