Food Service Worker

Our client is looking for team members to add to their team to work in local schools as a Food Service Worker. Work Monday-Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm. 

Must be able to read and write English, to do simple arithmetic, be able to follow oral and written direction Must be neat in appearance Proficient in computers including internet, gmail, Skyward System Work independently, while also being able to work closely and collaboratively with other staff and district members Maintain confidentiality of student information Run computer Maintain records of food used Operation of equipment including-steam tables, hot food carts, computer, freezer, and milk coolers Afternoon operation of disassembly of cleaning/sanitizing of all major kitchen equipment-ovens, steamers, and steam kettle. Operation of dish machine Understand serving and portioning Setting up cafeteria serving lines, replenishing food items and organizing the lines. Cashiering tasks require accuracy in computer operation. Operation of the dish machine. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, and stand, including periods of both talk and hear, both in person and by phone; reach, carry, push, and/or pull with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Minimum 40# lifting, ability to push and pull.

Must pass pre-employment screenings including background check, pre-employment physical and complete TB testing.
