Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team for the 1st shift. The role involves welding mild steel ranging from 12 gauge to 1 inch in various positions including flat, vertical down, and overhead. You will be responsible for setting up your welder and job tasks, measuring, cutting, bending, and building frames. Using hand and power tools, tape measures, and other measuring tools will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will be grinding and polishing welds using Miller welders. We are looking for a complete welder, beyond just production-based welding.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on mild steel ranging from 12 gauge to 1 inch.
Set up welder and job tasks independently.
Measure, cut, bend, and build frames accurately.
Utilize hand and power tools, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
Grind and polish welds to perfection.
Operate Miller welders efficiently.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience in MIG welding on mild and structural steel.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.
Experience in fabrication, fitting, and assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3 years of experience in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.
Experience with flux core welding.
