Pay $16.50 (Day) - $18.75 (Night)
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, safety-conscious Appearance Product Installer I to join our team. In this role, you will install accessories on Toyota vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and strict adherence to company and safety standards. The position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation of vehicle appearance accessories (basic to moderate complexity)
- Operate and drive Toyota vehicles safely on company property
- Follow standardized installation procedures and safety protocols
- Use computerized systems (Pick-to-Light) to pull and track parts
- Maintain clean workspaces and safeguard tools, equipment, and consumer data
- Conduct quality checks and correct any installation defects
- Support other departments as needed and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, or related work preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety documentation
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must
- Familiarity with Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) criteria is a plus
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and climb regularly
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Work in outdoor environments, exposed to varying weather and loud noises
- Visual acuity required for close-up work, depth perception, and night vision
- Exposure to vehicle exhaust, moving mechanical parts, and chemical agents
Certifications & Licensing:
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
