Job Title: Bilingual Receptionist
Job Type: Full-Time/ Temp-to-hire
Pay: $16/hr
Scheduled Shift: 7:45 A.M AM – 5:00 PM (with a 1hr &15m lunch)
Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and new hires at our Houston office. This role supports daily front desk operations, visitor management, and HR onboarding. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and direct visitors, clients, and vendors
Answer and route phone calls, take messages
Track and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
Manage visitor badges, certified mail, and package logs
Maintain reception area and supply organization
Schedule interviews, meetings, and conference rooms via Outlook
Assist with onboarding tasks: prepare new hire documents, notify IT, print policies, issue ID badges, and send welcome emails
Coordinate parking access and maintain validation logs
Submit building service requests and order access cards as needed
Maintain digital employee files and track onboarding evaluations
Support HR with clerical and admin tasks as assigned
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Mainly desk-based with regular phone and computer use
Occasional walking, lifting (up to 10 lbs), and file handling
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
2+ years of front desk or office support experience
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential info
Proficient with Outlook, basic office software, and equipment
