General Labor/Sorter

Now hiring for a large client in Janesville, WI! We are currently looking for long-term, self-motivated individuals to work as Disassembly Technicians who are open to working full-time, 40 hours per week with an open availability to work overtime as needed. This is a recycling company that provides electronic and universal waste recycling and asset recovery solutions across a diverse range of market segments including OEMs, retailers, municipalities, and Fortune 500 organizations. 

General Summary: 

A Disassembly Technician will be trained in how to process and sort TVs, computers and assorted electronics for recycling purposes using hand and power tools to take apart these items. You will be trained on what items to look for inside each product such as special wiring, panels, bolts, etc. to send out for recycling to other locations. This position is a heavy labor position! Must be physically fit due to the intense working requirements. 

Job Duties: 

• Disassembling (taking apart) computers, electronics and/or related equipment 

• Working with various hand and power tools 

• Sorting and identifying components to recycle 

• Load/Unload equipment from containers 

• Able to maintain a fast pace and work with a team 

• Additional duties as assigned 

Requirements: 

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time 

• Ability to use hand and power tools 

• Able to lift +50 lbs. on a consistent basis 

• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, lift (*Must be physically fit) 

• Basic mechanical aptitude 

• Must have great attendance and work history! (*At least 6mo-1yr of consistent work history)
