We are currently seeking general laborers to work as part of an agronomy team distributing fertilizer. These positions will entail working outdoors unloading tankers and railcars filled with liquid and dry fertilizer. We anticipate these positions will last approximately 3 months. Some associates may be transferred to permanent roles at that time.
Locations: Janesville, Avalon, Evansville and Clinton
Shift(s):

Day Shift: 7AM-4PM or finish, Monday - Friday.
Frequent overtime and 50-60 hour weeks during height of season, including weekends.
Pay Rate: $15/hr
Job Duties:

Employee(s) will be responsible for working outdoors unloading tankers and railcars that have passed through the scale.

Operation of pumping equipment.
-
Labor intensive duties such as shoveling grain and performing material handling duties will be common.

Work is performed outside primarily and will require employees to work in cold, hot, dry, wet and windy conditions as the weather dictates.
Necessary PPE will be provided.
Qualifications:

Must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, kneel, squat and be on your feet throughout a 12 hour shift.

Must be able to travel to other locations.

Lifting requirement set at 50lbs and it will be repetitive at times.

Experience operating equipment such as skid loaders and forklifts is preferred, but not required.

Able and willing to work all overtime. It will get extremely busy during season and overtime is always mandatory.

Positive attitude and able to work well with others. Willingness to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
