Warehouse Customer Service Representative

Account Managers/CSRs are responsible for client satisfaction. The CSR is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the CSR should build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.Work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. Starting pay is $13-? DOE.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Following all directives from the Supervisor.

  • Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.

  • Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.

  • Approves Change Orders and completes assigned clients weekly billing.

  • Responsible for handling orders from clients regarding the shipping and receiving of products.

  • Supplying shipping and receiving information to the warehouse to meet shipping deadlines.

  • Establishing intimate knowledge of the distribution supply chain.

  • Providing excellent customer service to clients.

  • Assisting other CSR’s to help alleviate work load.

  • Entering data in Excel, including basic manipulations of formulas and functions for reporting.

  • Establishing and maintaining client accounts.

  • Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team.

  • Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.

  • Other duties may be assigned. 



  • Experience with container movement and the ports desired

  • Undergraduate degree in logistics or Business Management preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse/distribution/logistics/shipping customer service or account management

  • Experience or knowledge of warehousing or shipping industry

  • Possess strong IT skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; excel, word, outlook

  • Extremely punctual

  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well

  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction

  • Able to learn at a fast pace
