Practice Manager for both the Port Royal and Chelsea Clinics. 3-5 years’ experience in medical office setting required. FQHC experience preferred. Two-to three years in a supervisory or management position required ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for the financial performance of the revenue cycle Supervision of patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing and cash posting Coordination of the day to day operations of the practice Promotes excellent customer levels by all levels of the staff Develops, implements and maintains office policies and procedures Participates in the interviewing, hiring and training of a productive office teams Supervises and evaluates performance of office team Maintains and manages all filing and organization systems for the practice Ensures patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and developing process improvements to prevent recurrences Ensures regulatory compliance with all appropriate federal, state and local regulations Knowledge and application of appropriate billing and coding practices to maximize practice collections Knowledge of continuous process improvement concepts and practices Additional Duties Must be able to prioritize work and be able to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately. Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and public relations skills Able to work as part of a team and foster the team concept. Must be dependable and maintain a high degree of confidentiality Strong organization, problem solving, crisis management and conflict resolution skills desired. Ensures that appearance and personal conduct are professional at all times Excellent attendance record. Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, patients, and staff. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community. Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices. Other duties as assigned.
