Account Managers and CSRs with experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, and/or shipping fields wanted to serve as the secondary business contact for our customers. You will be the account manager responsible for client satisfaction to those accounts assigned to you.

CSRs are expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the CSR should build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. Work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. Starting pay is $14 DOE. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse/distribution/logistics/shipping customer service or account management is required. Retail and restaurant customer service is not applicable.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Establish and maintain client accounts.

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.

  • Communicate the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team.

  • Understand company capabilities and service, and effectively communicate all offerings to the client.

  • Follow all directives from the Supervisor.

  • Be responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.

  • Review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.

  • Approve Change Orders and complete assigned client weekly billing.

  • Handle orders from clients regarding the shipping and receiving of products.

  • Supply shipping and receiving information to the warehouse to meet shipping deadlines.

  • Establish intimate knowledge of the distribution supply chain.

  • Assist other CSR’s to help alleviate work load.

  • Enter data in Excel, including basic manipulations of formulas and functions for reporting.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with container movement and the ports desired

  • Undergraduate degree in logistics or Business Management preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse/distribution/logistics/shipping customer service or account management (fast food, hotel, and/or retail is not considered relevant experience)

  • Experience or knowledge of warehousing or shipping industry

  • Possess strong IT skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; excel, word, outlook

  • Extremely punctual

  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well

  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction

  • Able to learn at a fast pace
