We are hiring Assemblers/Armorers for a successful and established defense manufacturer.

 

This position is key to the success of the company and an integral part of the process. Most shifts will be 1st, 7am – 3:30pm.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.

  • Able to properly conduct inspection of upper and lower receiver for any manufacturing or cosmetic defects.

  • Ability to properly assemble all company specific firearms in accordance with company standards.

  • Properly conduct Armorer Quality checks in accordance with company standards.

  • Ability to read, comprehend and complete work orders and instructions.

  • Conforms to and operates within the framework of all applicable operator work instructions, SOPs, quality, safety procedures and items as deemed by your supervisor or management

 

  • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years of firearms experience or equivalent combination of education and experience necessary to fulfill the requirement of the position.

  • May be required to work varying shifts as needed.

  • Must be able to manage time efficiently.

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.

  • It is understood employees may be assigned to other departments, functional groups, and/or shifts as deemed necessary by management

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday.

  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.

  • Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
