Hiring now - Legal Practice Assistant for a successful firm on Hilton Head Island. Support needed in area of Real Estate for 4 Attorneys.

    • Perform complex administrative duties requiring knowledge of legal terminology and legal processes

    • Transcribe, prepare, edit, and/or draft correspondence, reports, and legal documents

    • Plan and schedule conferences and/or meetings

    • Maintain calendars

    • Plan and prepare travel arrangements

    • Enter billable time and edit time and pre-bills as needed

    • Process expense reimbursements

    • Answer incoming calls; prepare documents for shipment; and distribute mail

    • Open and maintain client files, cases and organizational documents

    • Respond to inquiries for information

    • Serve as backup receptionist

    • Other responsibilities as needed



    • At least two years of experience as a transactional legal secretary/assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department environment; real estate experience will be helpful

    • Proficient with Word 2016 and dictation equipment

    • Ability to type 50 wpm

    • Associate's degree or equivalent or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player who takes ownership

    • Balance competing priorities and work effectively under pressure

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
