The position is responsible for system designs, coding, documentation and maintaining programs according to department standards; enhancement of system to increase user functionality; participates in full SDLC for new software code, analyzes business requirements, performs gap analysis, develops detail design, documents test cases, constructs source code, executes test plans, participates in formal review sessions, assists in integration test, system test and user acceptance test, provides detailed estimates of work effort. This includes mobile, Intranet, Internet, and Extranet based application as well as custom applications required by the department. It also includes customization, modification and configuration of COTS acquired by the department as well on-call support when required.
Perform application upgrades, installation, and configuration and maintain web interfaces, develop layout design, dynamic\interactive web sites, pages, application while enforcing and maintaining web security. Ensure website design consistency and compliance with required standards.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System or closely related field; and five(5) years as a programmer/analyst in software development; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Microsoft Certification desired but not mandatory based on level of experience and other training.
