As a Fabrication Manager, you will be a pivotal force in driving the manufacturing operations to excellence. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process of materials and products. Your leadership will directly impact cost- effectiveness, efficiency, and product quality. We’re seeking an experienced manager who can optimize fabrication processes, foster collaboration, and elevate our team’s performance.

Salary: $70 - $100k DOE

                       

Responsibilities:

                                                                                                                       

• Strategic Leadership:

                                                                                              

o Implement and streamline production processes
o Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to troubleshoot issues                                                                                

o Maintain work area in accordance with OSHA standards
o Foster a culture of promoting safety and attention to detail
o Attend all scheduled meetings
o Coordinate with production and manufacturing departments in engineering, purchasing, and sales

o Maintain inventory of crucial components and supplies
o Manage project lifecycles
o Collaborate internally to meet project requirements
o Ensure on-time, quality, and on-budget project delivery
o Compliance with contract specifications                                                                                                                                                            

o Operating welding (flux Core, MIG, TIG) equipment to join metal components o Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific welding requirements 

o Fabricating and repairing metal components and structures
o Inspecting finished welds to determine structural soundness

o Responsible for maintaining shop organized

                                                                                                   

Qualifications:

                                                                                                                                                   

• Skills and Experience:

                                                                                                                                                   

o 4 or more years of fabrication experience
o Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
o Blueprint reading and knowledge of common welding symbols o Machining theory and standard practices
o Strong project management skills                                                                                                                    

o Proven leadership in production teams, fabrication, or steel shops
o Pipe fitting procedures
o Prior experience welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment
o Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including Flux Core, MIG, TIG welding, metal    

fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals
o Forklift Certification is Required
o AWS welding certification
o Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment
