Quality Inspector We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all incoming and outgoing materials and products, as well as production procedures. Your role will be crucial in advocating for quality within our business and ensuring the delivery of flawless products to our customers. Responsibilities: • Adhere to safety guidelines in the production environment and promote a safety-conscious culture. • Inspect and approve finished goods, in-process materials, and raw materials by conducting visual and measurement tests according to specified standards. • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and nonconforming materials, and inputting data into the quality database. • Report and provide feedback to associates regarding recurrent defects, and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary. • Maintain a strong understanding of quality standards and ensure compliance in all aspects of production. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. • Continuously monitor and improve quality control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Provide support during internal and external quality audits as required. Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in reporting and documentation. Education and Experience: • 1-2 years of demonstrated success as a Quality Inspector/Quality Control in the Automotive industry (preferably). • Experience working with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing or walking. • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when required. Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire Salary: $19.00 per hour
