Mechanical Assembler

The Role:

This position performs tasks that support the electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. Typical tasks may involve mechanical assembly using small hand tools, wiring and fastening terminal connectors and similar tasks and could involve simple soldering.

Required Skills:

• Assembly, warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Must be comfortable using basic math.
• Aptitude to learn simple soldering pc board electronic components.
• Able to read and follow written assembly instructions accurately.
• Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Capable of using small hand tools, manual and electronic screw drivers, tweezers, soldering irons, pliers, strippers, crimpers, etc.

The position requires sitting or standing at work benches and the use microscopes and magnifying glasses.

Temporary position 1 to 3 months

Pay Rate: $17.25 – With no experience.
