A large medical devices company is looking for a customer service driven individual for a Respiratory Technical Specialist temp to hire opportunity. This person will focus on business to business customer service in the Technical Assistance Center, being a point of contact for any technical concerns related to respiratory care ventilation products. This position will provide customer outreach and education on products, and will interact with the customer service and technical support teams, and the engineering and product management teams.



•Provide clinical support and resolution to critical product related safety and performance issues to healthcare providers

•Handle a high volume of customer interactions via telephone, and cases/emails

•Provide appropriate and timely responses to customer inquiries

•Document all inquiries and customer-reported problems in salesforce.com

•Participate in on-going training, coaching, and integration of new products

•Provide device expertise and clinical support to clinical sites/healthcare providers and staff as required

•Become the "voice of the customer", provide feedback and suggestions to product management and clinical teams on product/product support

•Committed to providing exceptional customer service and providing measurable results that demonstrate quality customer care


Candidates must be:

•Professional with effective communications skills – both verbal and written. Ability to effectively interact and maintain professionalism with customers at all levels via phone and email

•Detail-oriented, results driven and process oriented is essential

•Ability to work alternating shifts to meet the needs of the product queue



•Three years of Respiratory Care Experience with specific history in managing ventilated patients

•Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred

•Strong analytical and problem solving skills

•RRT and current RCP license or appropriate designation

•Prior customer service/technical support experience


Desirable Experience:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/Acute Respiratory Care

•Knowledge/adherence of HIPAA

•Medical device industry experience

•Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite or other cloud CRM

•Experience with Oracle

•Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered
