We are in immediate need of a Lead Generation Specialist, who will act as an Inside Call Representative for the Sales Department. This is an entry level sales role with an awesome company who regularly wins accolades for being one of San Diego's best places to work. This could be a great opportunity for a recent graduate who has had some sales experience, to grow with a leading company in San Diego.

 

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, driven professional with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts. Your responsibilities will range from researching and identifying new opportunities, to engaging and consulting prospects with a specific focus on nurturing.

 

**6 month contract with possibility to extend longer, or turn to a permanent position. Pay is $18-$20 per hour.**

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Generate new business opportunities by researching and outreaching accounts

Identify, qualify and develop opportunities through high volume tele-prospecting.

Navigate through organizations to find the right decision makers for our solution.

Meet and/or exceed sales targets on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services in order to make recommendations to prospective customers that align business needs to our technology solutions.

Partner with Client Development Managers to create a strategy for calling focus and pipeline development.

Maintain detailed notes in Salesforce.com, to enable an efficient transfer of important background data within the organization.

 

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

 

Bachelors degree required

1-2 years of phone sales experience is a huge plus. (any strong sales experience will be considered)

Excellent communication skills- great listener, assertive, articulate and persistent.

Engaging personality, team player and motivated to excel in your career.

You have experience with SalesForce.com or similar CRM and are detail oriented.

You are self-motivated and able to focus on primary tasks and avoid distractions
